Dr. Marie Howard joins the Senior Leadership Team of the Apostles Theological Seminary as Vice President of Administration and Admissions.
With a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Education Administration from LaSalle University in Mandeville, Louisiana Dr. Howard is a welcome addition to the Senior Leadership Team of ATS.
Among other duties of administrating ATS, as Vice President of Administration and Admissions, Dr. Howard will be responsible for overseeing and upgrading the admissions process, including registration of students and keeping track of transcripts. She will also be responsible for the development of the newly formed financial department and involved with the granting of ministerial and academic scholarships and overseeing the interest-free financing program.
Working closely with ATS Chancellor Dr. George Kouri, Dr. Howard is also assuming the role of Dean of the Apostles Theological Seminary's first "commuter campus" in Jacksonville, Florida. Hosted by the King's Church in Jacksonville, Florida, ATS Jax will begin "brick and mortar" classes January 10, 2011.
Marie is a registered nurse who has overseen the development of numerous training programs for nurses. She is also an ordained minister of the Gospel, part of the leadership of Apostolic Ministries and Churches International, and actively involved in the ministry outreaches of the King's Church in Jacksonville.
