Hear Chancellor's New Year's Message: "Overcoming Fear"

God uses ordinary people!

Joseph, a humble carpenter from Nazareth, falls in love with a girl named Mary.

All of a sudden Mary turns up pregnant, as the plan and purpose of God breaks in upon Joseph's life and scrambles it.

As his life appears to be coming apart at the seams, God sends the angel Gabriel with a message:

"Joseph, do not be afraid..."

The greatest enemy to faith is not doubt; it is fear.

Fear hinders faith and keeps us from doing the will of God.  Sometimes the greatest challenge to faith is simply the fear of doing God's will, the fear of the consequences or the cost!

As we face the challenge of a new year the greatest challenge you and I will face is the challenge of not being afraid, not being fearful to do the will of God in our lives. If we can learn not to fear the purpose of God for our lives, we will walk win!
