As believers, you and I need Unshakable Kingdom Confidence.
It is easy to have confidence when everything is going great, but you and I need a confidence that looks trouble in the eye...unshakable confidence...Kingdom confidence. We need a confidence that is strong regardless of what we are facing...regardless of what happens.
David had that kind of confidence.
He had confidence when things were good and when things were bad. He had unshakable Kingdom confidence. In Psalm 27:1-3 David declares, "though war breaks out against me; though I am surrounded by enemies, I still am confident."
How could David have confidence like that? How can you and I have that kind of confidence?
- Confidence when our bank account is full, and when it is not...
- Confidence when our marriage is good, and when it is not...
- Confidence when the kids are good, and when they are not...
We need the kind of confidence in God that says like David,
"Bring on the war...I shall be victorious!"
Saints, how in the world can we have Kingdom confidence like David?
