Watch Chancellor Kouri's Christian Life Series, "How Shall We Live?"

In light of the fact that God the Father has established the throne of His Son and made Jesus Lord and King, how then shall we live?

Francis Schaffer (pictured here) wrote a powerful book on this theme in 1976. As one of the foremost evangelical thinkers of the twentieth century, Francis Schaeffer long pondered the fate of declining Western culture. In this brilliant book he analyzed the reasons for modern society's state of affairs and presented the only viable alternative: living by the Christian ethic, acceptance of God's revelation, and total affirmation of the Bible's morals, values, and meaning.

Drawing upon Francis Schaffer's thrust Apostle George Kouri follows up his provocative message, "How Jesus Became King? with his challenging series of messages entitled, "How Then Shall We Live?" In this challenging and controversial message Brother Kouri sets forth what the New Testament actually teaches about obedience to the Gospel of the Kingdom and how a person enters fully into what Jesus called "the regeneration" or the salvation Jesus accomplished in His death on the cross, His descent into hell, His regeneration and conquest of Satan in hell, His resurrection, His ascension and enthronement, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

After setting forth the New Testament Doctrine of Christ and the first apostles regarding full initiation into Christ or Jesus the Messiah and His Kingdom, Brother Kouri explains the teaching of Jesus and His apostles concerning what we are to build upon the foundation of Jesus' Kingship and how we are to develop Kingdom culture and Kingdom civilization, ultimately filling all things with the glory of the sons and daughters of God.

Applying almost 60 years of Biblical and theological study and ministry experience, Kouri spells out the blessings and the responsibilities of membership in the body of Christ or what the New Testament calls placement in the Household of God. He deals at length with what the New Testament teaches about submission to God ordained spiritual or governmental authority in the Church, faithfulness to the Lord and to His General Assembly on the Lord's day, and the importance of paying tithes and giving offerings into the work of God in the allotment or local congregation where God has placed us, and giving alms to the poor. He also deals with the vital importance of mutual submission to one another on the part of Christians and what it really means to use our spiritual gifts and natural talents to love and serve one another. Finally, he carefully and faithfully lays out the teaching of Jesus and His apostles concerning Christian courtship, marriage and family, how Christians should relate to civil government, and how they should behave in the market or workplace.

If you are looking for a practical Kingdom resource to enable you to strengthen the spiritual foundations of the people for whom God has made you responsible, help you lead them into true Christian discipleship, develop spiritual family or covenant community, and establish Kingdom culture in your spiritual sphere of responsibility then this is a must watch series of messages.
